Ronney Choong captured his seventh MSO singles championship by capturing the men's 60-64 group, defeating David Simpson for the second year in a row. Mr. Choong then paired with Shean Wu in doubles again this year and took gold by defeating Mr. Simpson and Roger Leung.

Rick Thompson and Teresa Kramer repeated as mixed doubles gold medalists in 55-59. Another repeat champion was Fuziah Ms. Ayub-O'Neill in women's 60-64, coming on the heels of a silver medal at the National Games.

Linda Wheatley, who paired with Angela Wang to win a silver medal in women's 50-54 doubles at the National Senior Games, had a new playing partner in Jin-Chung Hsu in the MSO mixed doubles this year and took home another gold.

Carolyn Baker was a double gold medal winner this year, capturing the women's 65-69 and teamming with Ms. Ayub-O'Neill in doubles. Likewise, Jin-Chung Hsu took a gold in men's 55-59 singles to go along with the mixed doubles medal with Ms. Wheatley.
