The 2018 Maryland Senior Olympics will be held from May 2 through Oct. 1 at venues in Montgomery County, Howard, Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Baltimore City and Frederick counties. This year is a qualifying year for National Senior Games, held June 14-25 in Albuquerque, N.M. We're featuring over 140 events in 23 sports on the state level, including non-qualifying participatory sports billiards, bocce, croquet, disc golf, La Milla de Mayo and lawn bowling.

To participate, you must be aged 50 and above. Maryland is open to out-of-state athletes, too. Registration deadline is two weeks prior to your event; Aug. 6 for our pickleball events or earlier if capacityis reached. Get everything you need to know about MSO and registration through our 2018 Information and Registration Guide. You can download the guide or request one via mail by emailing us your name and address at info@mdseniorolympics.org or by calling 240-777-4930.

Registration opens April 16, 2018! Teams and individuals can register online or by mail-in. Here's how:

MSO Online Registration!
Thanks to our partners at fusesport and our friends at the National Senior Games Association, Maryland athletes have a fast, easy and convenient way of registering and paying quickly online. There is a $5 processing fee for each online registration. Payment is through PayPal but you don’t need an account, you can pay by credit card. Follow the easy instructions below:

1.) Go to the web address of: https://maryland.nsga.com/registration/823/;

2.) Sign up by selecting “Register for the 2018 Games Here.” All returning and new athletes will register in the same manner;

3.) Once registered for the 2018 games, you can view or update your registration at any time by selecting “Update or Add Events to my 2018 Registration” and entering your confirmation number and last name;

4.) After completing your registration with Maryland Senior Olympics, you can register for another state or local games by going to: http://nsga.com/state-games.

Important Information
If you are registering for a partnered event, be sure to have the full name, date of birth and email address for your partner. The online registration system will send an invite to your partner or give you the opportunity to accept an invite from your partner. It may be easier to arrange for one of you to register first, then the other register when they receive the partner invitation.

For Team Registration
Team CaptainsGo to the address https://maryland.nsga.com/registration/823/ and register your team. You will have the option to invite all of your team members (you'll need their email addresses) to register and join your team or to register everyone (you will need all details on the team members registration form) and pay their fee.

Team MembersYou can join a team, but the team must first be registered by your team captain. To find your team, search for your captain’s name or team code/number (which was created by your captain).

Be sure you read all of the instructions carefully and complete all required information during the online registration process.

MSO Mail-In Registration!
If you prefer to register the old-fashioned way, things haven't changed very much. There are forms for those entering as individuals and as a team. Team captains will need tomail the team roster and all team member registration forms.

Please fill out the forms completely. If you are registering for a partnered event, be sure to include your partner's name and date of birth on your mail-in form. Incomplete forms may cause you to lose your spot in an event. A $5 processing fee and $5 registration fee is added to mail-in applications. Here are the forms you need:

2018 Individual Registration Form
2018 Team Registration Form

2018 Team Roster Form
