REGISTRATION! The 2008 Maryland Seniors Olympics are being held at various sites and venues across the state from Aug. 30 through Nov. 2. To participate, athletes must register in advance for an event. No on-site registration is allowed. Participation in most of the Maryland Senior Olympics is open only to Maryland residents 50 years of age or older. Maryland residency is defined as: anyone who lives, works or owns property in the state. Also, once you are a Maryland Senior Olympian, you are always a Maryland Senior Olympian and will be welcome to participate regardless of residency.
Confirmation of your registration will be mailed to you. You must bring your confirmation with you to central registration as well as to all of your event check-ins. Some events require registration outside the Maryland Senior Olympics. Be sure to check the Events page for those programs. Additional registration forms may be photocopied, printed from this website's registration PDF, or by contacting the Maryland Senior Olympics office at 240-777-8080 to receive forms via mail. Here are the registration forms, fast and easy. Cycling Registration—Graciously spnsored by the Annapolis Bicycle Racing Team at Church Creek, Md., the Aug. 9 event for the 5k and 10k time trials require registration through the Annapolis Bicycle Racing Team's mail-in form. 5k Run Qualifier—Sponsored by the City of Rockville, the Kentlands Community Fund and conducted at the 15th Annual Kentlands/Lakelands 5k race Aug. 30, you must register through the race. Visit their website for race details, registration and more information. 10k Run Qualifier—Sponsored by the City of Rockville, Montgomery Road Runners Club and conducted at the 33rd Annual Rockville 10k/5k on Nov. 2, you must register through the race by using the mail-in form attached to race's brochure, or by going online at www.mcrrc.org.
